From up on Poppy Hil

I finally got "From up on Poppy hill" it is a studio ghibli film. This one is written by hayao miyazaki and directed by goro miyazaki. The movie was actually really good. It dose not have allot of the magic that other of miyazaki's work have, but it was still really good. It is set in Yokohama in 1963 Japan is getting ready to host the Olympics. a young girl named Umi takes care of a lot of the chores of her grandmas house / inn. she cooks the food for the day for the borders cleans and gets ready for school. every morning she puts ship flags up and for a long time in to the movie you don't know why.

she befriends a class mate named Shun he is head of the school paper and he is a spit fire he gets her attention when he jumps off the roof of the club building.

In the movie you watch these two start to fall in love as they clean this old building and its actually magical to watch. i don't want to ruin the movie for anyone so i am not going to tell you what happens after. :) I will say as it says on the back of the DVD "a buried secret from there past emerges to cast a shadow on the future and pull them apart." You will love this anime i watched it and could not stop. I hope this helps and if there are any questions please go ahead and ask. ^_^

Hello every one

Well hello I am new at this blogging but I wanted to give it a shot. I love anime and manga so that's what I will be talking about. I'm not home at the moment when I get home I will start on some anime and watch it and give my Opinion without giving away any spoilers. I don't know if anyone will actually be reading this or if its just going to be me speaking my mind to the Vast space of the Internet , I am just existed to try something new. Well I will be on here again soon with some anime and pics^_^
